The hard answer is Nothing.
If your carving is older than 6 months it is most likely done drying. Carvings as they dry lose water and thus weight. This weight translates to lost size. the shrinking causes cracks. As the humidity in your home or outside changes the carving will grow and shrink. If you fill the cracks it will cause the carving to crack more as it expands and grows as the water content changes.
If you have to do something then paint it. Buy some brown or black spray paint and repaint the bear. THis will make the cracks less noticable.
