We bought a Carving from you a couple of weeks ago. Is it better to keep it inside or outside, or does it matter? Close to the fireplace or away?

Inside or outside does not matter.

I would keep away from an active fireplace for the 1st 6 months.

The bear will crack. It cracks more if it dries out to fast. The Fireplace would dry it out to fast.

After it is dry it will not matter.
